Privacy Policy

To build trade ideas we import league data from the platform you connect: Sleeper, Yahoo, ESPN or Fleaflicker. That includes league settings, rosters, draft picks, standings, team names, manager display names and avatars. For Sleeper, ESPN and Fleaflicker we only read league data those platforms make available. For Yahoo, you sign in with Yahoo and we store the access token Yahoo gives us so we can read your leagues. We never ask for your fantasy platform password and we never submit trades for you.

When you create an account we store your email address, your login (email and password, or Google sign-in), the team you claim in each league, and your preferences, such as players you protect, your trade block and your notification settings.

We store your swipes and matches so we can build your feed, avoid repeats and tell you when a trade matches. We also keep a record of swipe outcomes (the trade, which way you swiped, and whether it matched) to improve the trade ideas we suggest.

Your individual swipes are private. Another manager only finds out you liked a trade when you both like it, or when you choose to send them the trade. A trade link you share, and a shared match page, show the team names and the players and picks involved. Anyone with the link can see that. They never show your protected players, trade block, wishlist or other private settings.

On the preview at symm.ca/try, you can load a Sleeper team without signing up. We store your league and team choice in a cookie on your device for up to 7 days. We also keep anonymous statistics on which preview trades people like or pass on. These are tied to a random ID, not to you, and they are not added to your account if you sign up later. If you choose to send a preview trade to a leaguemate, that one trade is saved to your account after you sign up so we can create the link.

Stripe processes payments for Symm Pro and Symm Commish. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers. We keep your Stripe customer and subscription IDs and your plan status.

We send emails and, if you allow them, browser push notifications for things like matches and your daily trade deck. You can change notification settings in the app. We still send emails needed to run your account, such as sign-in and billing messages.

We use Vercel Analytics to count page visits and actions, such as how many people finish a preview, without advertising cookies. If you arrive through a link with a ?ref= tag, we store that tag in a cookie for 30 days and save it with your account if you sign up, so we know which posts and campaigns bring people to Symm. We may also use an error-monitoring service to find and fix crashes. To prevent abuse, we keep short-lived request counters keyed to a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address.

Some team descriptions in Symm are written by an AI model (Anthropic's Claude). To write them we send team and roster details, not your email address or account information.

We use a few service providers, and only share what each needs to do its job: Vercel (hosting and analytics), Supabase (database and sign-in), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Anthropic (AI-written team descriptions) and Google (if you sign in with Google). These providers may store and process data in the United States and other countries. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with advertisers.

We use first-party cookies to:

• keep you signed in;
• remember your active league;
• remember your team choice in the no-account preview;
• remember the ?ref= tag you arrived with (30 days);
• secure the Yahoo sign-in step.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

You can permanently delete your account in the app's settings. Deleting it removes your login, profile, team claims, connected platform tokens, notification subscriptions and league invites you created, and cancels any subscription you pay for at the end of the current period. Trade history that belongs to the league as a whole (swipes and matches linked to a team, not to your account) stays in place so the league's history keeps working, but it is no longer linked to you. Stripe keeps its own payment records as the law requires. For anything else, or if you can't sign in, email symmadmin@gmail.com.

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing symmadmin@gmail.com. You can turn off notifications in the app at any time.

Symm is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or by email.
